This time the exam will be held on 17 april 2011 for the admission to the army, NAvy, and airforce wings of of the NDA and for Indian NAval Academy Course (INAC).

Candidate can apply both online and offline.
The date are 15 november 2010 and 15th november respectively.
But cadiadat belonging to re,mote areas can apply it latest by 22november.

sorry now you are not eligible for NDA but donot loose your heart you have lot of other entries by which you can apply such as UES CDSE etc

yes, you are eligible if you have passed your 12 or you are appearing in the exam.
As per the norms. your Age should lie betweeen 2nd January, 1993-1st july 1995..

National defence acadmy examination is conducted by upsc 2 times in a year .one at april-may and other at sep-oct. For appearing in nda exam a student must have either passed or appearing in 12th exam. After passing written exam u need to clear medical ,physical ,group discussion and at last interview. The written exam contain portion of 11-12 in phy,chem and basic english and general knowledge.

Yes you are eligible.NDA happen twice a year.your age should be 17.5 to 19 years.forms are avaliable from designated p.o/head p.o/GPO.
cost of form is 20/- only.

Yes u r eligible for The NDA examination. the age limit is 16 1/2 to 19 hence u r an eligible candidate.
Examination circular is published twice an year in april and near august. keep an eye on the employement newspaper for this.

age limit to attain in NDA exam is 17-19 year.

if you join indian army through NDA exam, then it will be best option for you.

if you join army through NDA exam, then you will get good post in army.

NDA forms are right now available in Post Office and some other designated branches of UPSE. Forms are also available in some book stalls but i advise you to not buy forms from these shops. You can also buy forms from UPSE office in New Delhi

Yes, you can apply for NDA 2011.
As your age will be considered on 1 july 2011. And it should be 16- 19 years. You have very limited attepts for the exam.

Since you are at present in 11 you are not eligible and also you need to be 16-18 years of age as per the UPSC norms.
So according to both right now you are not eligible but in near future you will be eligible for it

for appearing in NDA exam your age should lie between 16-18 years of age.
For the aprill 2011 exam the age is considersed from 2nd january1992-1 july 1995.

So you fulfill the age criteria but since your are in 12 your are not eligible right now and will ecome eligile in next 6 months when you will e in 12.
So you can appear for the january exam

i think your not eligible for the exam.see the eligibility criteria.

1)Age, sex & marital status – Only males can apply. The applicant should be

at least 16 1/2 yrs. of age & should not be more than 19 yrs on 1st Jan or 1st

July of the year in which exam is to held. The applicant should be unmarried &

can not marry until the training period. If he does so then all the expenditures

incurred on him by the government has to be refunded.

2)Educational Qualification – The candidate should be at least 12th pass

under the 10+2 pattern or equivalent conducted by State education Board or

University ( For Naval & Air Force wings, the candidates should have physics

& mathematics as compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam). The candidate

appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.

You are eligible only after 1st july 2011 as the minimum criteria for applying for NDA is 19 years and above but never the less you can apply for NDA 2 examination which is going to be conducted on august.By then you will be eligible to the course without no dough.You can get the forms and the last date of submission is on 18th April 2011.Don't lose hope,you can do it.

Hiiiiii,

In India, army is the most important part of defence.

To join Indian Army you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. NDA exams.

NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Minimum eligibility for NDA exam is: -

1. A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths or equivalent with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

2. Age - 17 Years to 22 Years.

3. Physical Eligibility - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

a. Eye Sight = 6/6, Height
b. Height = 167 cms,
c. Weight: 50 Kg
d. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)
