Why MCM course have not valuable.. why universities runes this course, that mean MCM students are not able to get job in IT industry??? Why why why?????

hello sir, i want the cut off list of MCM of last year, is there any enterance test will required for this

MCA and MCM both courses are same
MCA- Master in Computer Application
MCM- Master in Computer management
So don't confused very much Choose any which you think Best.
Both courses are good and both are nearly equal.

whats d best MCA OR MCM? what type of job we get frm both degrees? Isnt mca is better thn mcm?

MCA is the best,For doing MCA you need to have maths compulsory at 12th level so you can't apply for it.
MCM is masters of computer management and can pursue it from pune university.

Are mcm students full??? why u say that mcm has not scope.. why unversities runs this pg courses.. today, only mca and mba students are clever and other students?? what will they do?????? giv my all question answers.....................

hi dear,
there are significant differences between MCM and MCA. The former is a two year course, coupled with computer and management studies. This course is equivalent to MBA-Systems/IT and not fall under AICTE. Almost all major MNCs recruit MCMs, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Patni, Capgemini etc. But, to secure a job you have to clear the minimum criterias as specified by the industries. Such as, through out 60% from class Xth on wards or 55% in MCM etc. Most companies will conduact an Aptitude test, you have to clear that with at least > 80% to get short listed. Organizations will not mention the cut off percentage. Your career spans accross your karma, put your effort, secure first class marks and remain competitive. Pune University is a good one, but it is extremely hard to score > 60% in MCM. If you are doing the course, take it seriously. Don't get frustated through out your study and never look for statistics of placement. Self confidence is the most sought after quality to enter into a job.

MCA is three year course, approved by AICTE. As you know, there are huge crowd of MCAs, but not all are getting placed. In my opinion, just do not run after MNCs, seek opportunities in Government jobs, Defence, Education and Industries other than IT. You will be more secured in the long run. Selection criteria for top MNCs are more or less same. So if you do not have 60% throughout then it's a vague expectation to join Infosys, IBM, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. Few exceptions are there who consider 50 to 55% marks, like Accenture.
