MCA is a three year post graduate programme in computer applications.  It provides necessary skills required for software development. MCM on the other hand teaches the managerial skills in addition to the technical subjects. The duration of this course is 2 years. Since both courses are related to Computer field, it is difficult to choose which course is better.

Master in Computer Application is the post graduate programme which focuses on the advanced studies in the field of computer hard ware as well as software. The duration of the course is three years. Candidates who seek admission to this course are required have a graduation in computer related subjects or science subjects.
