Re: After NDA is it possible to do engineering?
dear friend,
After enter in NDA, you can't do engineering. But if you want to do some technical work under defence sector, so you should join DRDO after completion of your engineering degree. good luck. |

Re: After NDA is it possible to do engineering?
Hi friend
I want to tell you that doing engineering or doing NDA is equivalent not only from education side but also from knowledge perspective. NDA is also a course of four year duration. And after NDA you will be ranked as leutinant in army. As far as technicality is conserned syllabus is almost the same only the difference is of schedule and running methods. But if you do want to take admission in engineering course then you can also opt from various institutes in india. |

Re: After NDA is it possible to do engineering?
Hi
You have no need to do engineering when you cleared the NDA exam and selected as an officer after SSB. At the time of training and after training they will give you degree in engineering and teach each and every subject of engineering. So you just focus that how will you clear SSB which is done after NDA and when you clear SSB you became an officer in Indian Air Force and a engineer also. And in case if you are not able to clear this exam then you can try for engineering from some good institute. GOOD LUCK |

Re: After NDA is it possible to do engineering?
Dear friend
If you are interested in technical stuffs in military or air force or naval then NDA is not the right choice. According to your interest Combined Defense Services (CDS) would be proper to you after BTech. (For more details visit http://www.indicareer.com/competitive-exams/CDS.html) You can also appear Air Force (Technical). Once you qualify you will be taught engineering course in the force academy itself. Also visit: http://careerairforce.nic.in/train_estb/trainestab_aftc.html For Direct entry after B.Tech visit http://careerairforce.nic.in/career_opp/eng_tech_branch.html#direct thank you |

Re: After NDA is it possible to do engineering?
Dear frend,
SSB is just a type of interview in wich u r questioned by d selection board of defence services..dey basically check ur fluency in english,ur confidence level n ur capability to work in difficult situations.Candidates recommended by SSB will have to undergo a medical exam. Interview Technique This technique is based on the theory of free association. The candidate is made to talk freely and through this free association, the interviewing officer assesses the eligibility of the candidate to become an average officer. He does not expect the candidate to be a " know well" or a " walking encyclopedia", but he is only trying to find out if the individual has a receptive mind, which can retain issues in his mind. Is he a person , who keeps his eyes and ears open and is he a person, who keeps himself posted about almost events and happenings around him. Best f luck . |
