The age limit for NDA examination is 16.5 to 19 years.

But, you are eligible to apply for next NDA examination because the age limit

as indicated above, is applicable at the time of joining.

Your age should fall in the mentioned limit, at the time of joining.

Also, UPSC publishes the exact range of date of births in its notification so you can

confirm from there whether you are eligible or not.

I have checked the past year trends and according to that you are eligible for next

NDA examination which is going to be held in April 2012.

The notification for this shall be published on UPSC official website and in the

national dailies and Employment News.

The date of publishing of notification is 31st December 2011.

The minimum qualification to appear in NDA, conducted by UPSC twice in a year i.e.April & August,-
*High school qualification with minimum aggregate of 60%,in any stream (Maths for Navy & Air force) or equivalent, from affiliated institute.
*Age limit-16.5-19yr. At the time of joining.
So, according to the above criteria, you should be at least 16.5 yr. Of age at the time of joining.
Examining your age, you can apply for NDA-August. For more information you can visit-www.upsc.gov.in

Eligibility for NDA:

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :
A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination.

Candidates must not marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training.

A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government.

For Army wing of NDA:
The candidate must have passed +2 with 10th and +2 pattern of school education.

For Air force and Naval Wing:

The candidate must have passed +2 with 10th and +2 pattern of school education involving of subjects namely mathematics and physics.

The age limit is 16 1/2 - 19 years.

As you have mentioned that your age is 15 years.

Then you are wright now not eligible for the exam..

After 1.5 years you can apply for NDA exam..

Educational qualification:-
Candidate must have complete the 12th or its equivalent from any recognized central/state education board..

To apply for NDA exam one must have attend 16.5 years of age and must must not have complete the age 19 years..

So, you can apply for NDA exam after 1.5 years.

This examination is conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC] every years,.
For appear in this examination, you must have to complete your 12th from a recognized board,.
Though this examination , one can aply for the three branches of the Indian army.
The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years..there is not any age limit relaxation for ant reserved category.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
In month of august and April.

Eligibility:-
-12th pass from recognized university or board
-age limit :-16.5-19 year
-medically fit

there are three step of selection:-
-written exam
-interview
-medical exam
if you qualify all three you will be selected

each year 600 candidate are selected means 300 from each exam.

No,you are not eligible to apply for this examination.

To apply for this examination,the candidate have to complete intermediate(12th) from a recognized board or equivalent qualification and candidates who are appearing in the 12th class can also eligible to apply for this examination.

N.D.A Examination for admission Army,Navy and Air force wings.

Army wings :- Those who are completed 12th examination in any stream from a recognized board or equivalent qualification and age should between 16.5 years and 19 years.Those in the final year of 12th examination can also apply for this examination.

Navy and Air force :- Those who are completed 12th with physics and mathematics examination from a recognized board or equivalent qualification and age should between 16.5 years and 19 years.Those in the final year of 12th examination can also apply for this examination.

NDA is the National Defense Academy. It is the All India Entrance Exam which is conducted once every year by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) to select and recruit eligible and capable candidates for the Indian Air Force, Navy and Army.


Basic Eligibility Conditions are ::

1. The candidate must be an Indian National being an Unmarried Male.

2. The age should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

3. He should have passed class 12th from a recognized school or state board in India.

4. Physics and Maths are compulsory subjects if anybody wishes to apply for the Indian Air Force or Navy.

5. The physical fitness is a must for this exam. No PD candidates are eligible.



-->> Now coming to your case, as you are 96 born, thus this year i.e 2012 you would touch 16 years.

Whereas the minimum age required is 16.5 years.

So you are eligible for the NDA 2013, but not 2012.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for NDA examination which is going to be held in the year 2013.

National Defence Academy (NDA)
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC government twice in a year to select eligible candidates for different wings of NDA :
Navy wing
Army wing
Air Force wing
For air force and naval wing, you must have completed 12th with science stream in PCM and for army wing, you can apply for it even by completing 12th with any stream.
Along with these, you must also have the following Eligibility Criteria :
1. Your age limit must be between 16.5 to 19 years
2. You must be a permanent citizen of India
3. You must be an unmarried male candidate

According to your given age above till 2013 your age will be 18 years on 1st january. Therefore, you can surely apply for NDA I exam till 2013.

so friend don't worry you can apply for the CDS exam after copletion of your graduation.

so first of all you should seek admission in graduation.

So sorry to say this you are not eligible for NDA. Because the minimum educational qualification is 12th standard and this exam is conducted by the UPSC 2 times in a year.

Sorry to say that you cannot be eligible for NDA examination at an age of 15 yrs.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

This examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II in three wings:-

* Indian Army.

I have given my 10th boards exam this year i.e. 2014
and i want to join NDA by taking PCM stream which my school is providing me according to my preboards examinations after my 12th class
my school DOB is june 16,2000 but my original DOB is june 16 1999.
Am i eligible for giving NDA exams just after my 12th exams?
