A lot of self study and regular study is required. First of all, Check out the syllabus, and plan out your time of study according to that.

Hello.....There are a lotof books in the market which promise success in NDA but remember to choose only one because studying from too many sources will cause only confusion and nothing else.
In my advice that book would be Arihant's NDA Entrance guide which has a large question bank with last 6-7 year's solved NDA Papers.It is compiled by Dr.P.K Mittal and Neetika Goyal.They have given a complete trend analysis because there is a gradual change in the pattern of questions plus they have given nice suggestions on last minute DO'S and DON'TS.

Marital Status and gender:

Educational Qualification:

*For Army wing of NDA:- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent.

*For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.


If you have not applied for NDA(I) to be held on 17th April 2011, then you cannot appear for that.
However, if you wish, you can apply for NDA to be held later this year.
