Can a Mechanical Engineering student study M.E in Aerospace Engineering?


I am in 2nd year MECHANICAL ENGINEERING can i go for ME in aerospace/aeronotical engineering plz tell me how can i go for it.

yes you can apply for ME or M.Tech in aerospace engineering at IITs.Through GATE you can take admission.

yes, Mechanical Engineering student can study M.E in Aerospace Engineering.

as you know Aerospace Engineering is a specialisation course of mechanical engineering.

to do mtech in Aerospace Engineering, you have to qualify gate exam.

a student who cannot qualify jee/aieee exam but get very good percentage in XII(SCIENCE) can take admisson in aerospace engineering

by clearify the GATE exam you surely study M.E in Aerospace Engineering.
there is no doubt in this. because in the aerospace engg. ME. is playing a great role.

I'VE SCORED 85.44% IN 10TH,66.66% IN 12TH ,OBTAINED 34663RD RANK IN CET I DONT YET KNOW MY AIEEE RESULT BUT I'M GONNA DO MECHANICAL ENGINEER.CAN I EVEN DO M.E IN AEROSPCE LATER

i would wish to study aerospace engineering and i had got 78% pcm in 12th examination and i am disqualified in isat2011.
I know nothing but i can learn and i will, hence i am requesting you to tell me the way to continue my career as an aerospace engineer.also i wrote aieee2011 and my AIR is 619843 pls help me.

Yes, you can opt for aerospace Enginneering but really need very hard work for it and need to qualify GATE!
