There is no requirement of any percentage of marks for apply to NDA.
NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. One Indian unmarried male within the age of 16.5 years to 19 years of age having completed 10+2 with or without Science is eligible to apply for NDA. The final 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply for NDA. The candidate with 10+2 having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for all three wings of NDA but candidate with 10+2 without Science subject can only be eligible for Indian Army. As you may know that NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. Its is basically an entrance examination which is organized and conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for the recruitment of Class 1 officers in the wings of Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. If you wish to apply for this exam, then you must satisfy the following :
The Notification for the NDA has been released very recently on their website. I am uploading the same. Yes you are eligible to apply for NDA.
to appear for NDA exam one should pass 12th or equivalent from any recognised board but there is no restriction on the required percentage. if you want to go for NAVY or Airforce but should have Maths and Physics in 12th for army wing there is no restriction on subjects in 12. Age limit 16.5 to 19 years A candidate has to go through three stages : Written examination conducted by UPSC Interview by SSB to test officer potentialities Medical Test by a Service Medical Board. Scheme of the Examination Papers will be objective type. Medium of examination is English only. Syllabus for Entrance Examination Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300) Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. Paper II - General Ability Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200) Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400) APPLICATION FORM are published by the UPSC at interval of six months, i.e. April / May and October / November in all the local newspapers and Employment News. |
