At present i am doing my b.tech in biotechnology. I want to do m.tech in the same field in abroad. so what is the first step to proceed ?

Dear friend I am providing you the list of some college/univ offering masters in biotechnology stream below. You can get the details of admission procedure by visiting the college/univ website. Almost every college/univ. take candidates on the basis of GRE scores. So, You will have to take GRE (Graduate Record Examination) and then you can apply to the collges. Apart from that if your grades are very good (9/10) or you are college topper and you apply directly to the professor of the stream and then you have the chances of getting direct calls for masters and PhD. But GRE test would be convinient option.

See biotechnology is an emerging career option and its considered as a hot choice nowadays due to its high scope. So it doesnt really matter whether you do from India from abroad.

But mostly if you not getting into top biotech institutes in India like JNU etc and you getting those bad colleges then you can think off applying for the foreign universities. Its totally your choice so think over it hard

Firstly i suggest you to do MTECH itself in India tere are really good colleges BUT IF YOU WANT TO TRY FOR ABROAD YOU CAN SEEK THERE THROUG GRE, you can also apply for entrance tests for their respective colleges or through your 12th%.
some good colleges are
HARVERD, WISCOSIN, CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY, UNIV. OF FLORIDA etc.
