If you are interested in joining banking sector then I would like to suggest you to complete your graduation in any discipline in which you are interested because in order to join banking sector, a candidate has to qualify the government test that is conducted every year such as SBI PO, IBPS clerk and other clerical exams.
As you have completed your 12th standard with PCM, so it would be beneficial for you to complete your graduation in the same stream and then to prepare yourself for banking exams according to the syllabus.

You are eligible to pursue any course in bachelor degree to appear for entrance examination for recruitment as Clerk or PO.

But, for selection in core jobs such as IT Office,r Law Officer etc you need to have passed bachelor degree in a particular discipline.

So, you can select the course as per your choice and future job. For more information eligibility and other information visit at www.ibps.in or www.sbi.co.in.

For appearing in banking recruitment examination the required minimum qualification is bachelor degree in any discipline.

The common eligibility to appear for Clerk or PO examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline.

The age limit varies with examination.

So, you can pursue any course in the bachelor degree.

The first thing I would like to let you know is that the minimum education required to apply for a banking job is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, having completed your Class 12th and looking for a course for your further studies in order to join banking sector later, you can opt for any stream or any degree course as per your interest to be eligible for getting banking sector jobs.

Further, once you complete your graduation degree course, to get appointed in nationalized bank of India as a banking personnel, you are required to qualify bank examinations held by IBPS or SBI for which details can be accumulated by referring to their respective official links which are www.ibps.in or www.sbi.co.in.

As per the eligibility criteria, the minimum educational qualification required to apply for the banking sector is graduation. Anyone who is a graduate can apply.
You would need to pursue at least a graduate degree whether B.Sc or B.tech as you are a mathematics student.

The minimum percentage required in graduation is 55%.
Your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Banking sector jobs just like any government sector job doesn't require specialization for the general posts.

The eligibility for most of the banks is a graduation from a recognised Indian University in any stream .No particular stream is mentioned.

Also for the lower posts that of clerk , a 12th pass student in any stream can apply.

But sometimes the bank recruits the candidates for the Specialised posts like that of accounts manager ,IT heard and so on ..There you need to possess the required qualifications.

So you can pursue the course of your choice and then prepare for the banking exams because having a career backup plan is a must while preparing for the exams.
