the ans to the question basically depends firstly,BSc in any of these fields donot fetch you very good career. however masters in this fields gives you good placements.after doing your masters especially in these field you are generally left with two options it goes as follows MSc---PhD----research MSc---phD----teaching and both fetch you a good career as well as good pay but it all depends on your intrest and patience level as in wether you can give so much time on your phD |

HELLO,biotechnology is slowly but surely growing in our country.and in the same way the fields related to it like bioinformatics, biochemistry and many more.if you look outside the country biotechnology is an sure field, due to this people have accept it as a money machine for them.in the countries like america, japan, china, canada, russia has put their steps far away in this field.so due it's publicity & relations to the real society you can assume salary for an biotechnologist.today biotechnologists are receiving much more salary from their company than employee working in ITcompanies.like that employees working in bioinformatics sector,DNA fingerprint experts, biopharmacist are receiving much more amount than the IT employees due to their present demands.e.g. investigation department need DNA fingerprint experts but they didn't found required quantity of employees.so the experts got their high amount of salary comparatively more than any IT employee.being DNA fingerprint experts are of biotechnology background we are discussing about them.moreover somewhere exceptions are there, the companies paid to the employees as per their budget & an biotechnology expert may get less salary than it's linear IT employee.but as per the the statistics the biotech employees are getting more packages than IT employees.

Dear friend,
Though these two industries are totally different, in case of earnings they provide more or less same salary. In case of pharmaceutical courses, M.Tech/M.Sc/MBA in specialized courses can lead to a good job career. The biotechnology industry is vibrantly distributed over the country in the clinical research sector and as well as in the drug manufacturing sector. As your experience grows in this field you can expect more salary from an organization. All the best!! |
