i want to do msc-bioinformatics but is it better for future ..

and IBAB from banglore provides diploma course in bioinformatics after bsc also , so are they also good.....

Since, you have have completed your B.sc (Bioinformatics) go for M.sc is a good decission.

Master degree is always more convinient and reliable then any post graduate diploma.I am not saying that course offered by IBAB,bnaglore is not good,but it will be better to opt for Master degree rather then PG diploma.

However,if we talk about the scope of Bioinformatics in India,then B.tech/M.tech (Bioinformatics) takes lead.As because B.tech is always more industry oriented then B.sc.

For good career prospect I will advice you to persue M.sc from a Reputed Indian Institute:-

IIT-M.
IIT-D.
IIT-R.
IISC,Banglore.
Pune University.
Amity University.

i had done bsc agril biotech i want to go for biotech line specially informatics.

Going for Post graduate diploma in Bioinformatics is good but,it will be much better if you go for M.sc (Bioinformatics) with specialisation in Computational Biology or ealse.

However,you can also enroll from POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BIOINFORMATICS (PGDB),from BII (Bioinformatics institute of India) the best place for persuing Diploma.Course fees is 10,000 payable at the time of admission.

You can also enroll for Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics (PGDBI) from SMU,in distance learning mode.

Bioinformatics: It is the branch of science which has perfect combination of Computer science,Biological science and Information Technolgy.Which is applied in carring research and development of biological and Medical aspects.

Bioinformatics is a lot more then just a useful tool in biological research and the development of drugs etc.

Bioinformatics has also given some life saving resourses in field of surgery and medical science.IBM is the leading company which develop Various complex sofware with the help of Bioinformatics which are today used in Computational surgery etc.

So,the thing is that India is the third largest Drug manufacturer,and Top in IT which provide edge and good career prospect for Bioinformatics experts.

So,better to go For M.sc Bioinformatics with specialisation in (Computational Biology) or (Drug designing).

after b.sc in bio-technology,there are options for going to the R & D side,otherwise management studies like MBA.
If you have love for the subject than only do M.Sc otherwise go for MBA, because placement wise MBA is far better than M.Sc.
So it is upto you to choose an option of what way you will like to go.

Yes, you can do MSc in bio-informatics after BSc in biotechnology.
All the major college/university conduct their entrance examination and some engineering colleges allow admission on the basis of GATE
Mostly reputed college require 55 or 60% marks for being eligible

MSc in Nano-Tech is better choice than environment science.
The nanotech is not completely developed but the future prospect is very high.
In the recent future it would be applied in health and environmental concerns to a very high extent. So, the demand is very high.

Yes my friend,

Its a very good option.Bio- informatics is the one area where scope of the subject has been developing well and the required number of people are not coming in relative to that in required amounts.

Bio informatics will involve the use of database or technology to go through the various techniques and activities of biotechnology.

This will have good life in upcoming future. As you have already some biotech background it will not be that much difficult for you to complete.

So choose bio-informatics.

Dear you haven't provided details of your subject combination in your +2, weather you were a medical (Impure science) or non medical (Pure science) at your inter.

However, oppurtunities are various in natural science, but only B.sc can not solve the problem, you have to opt for M.sc or most preferable P.hD.

If you had Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Impure science) combination at your +2 then followings would be better:-

B.sc/M.sc/P.hD - Microbiology
B.sc/M.sc/P.hD - Biotechnology
M.sc/P.hD - Bioinformatics
