Eligibility and procedure for admission in Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra?
Dear Sir/Madam, I am domicile of Maharashtra but presently living in Ghaziabad -UP. My son was born in Mumbai but does not have Maharashtra domicile. He wants to take admission in Engineering College in Maharashtra. Please guide us on his eligibility and procedure to get admission.

Eligibility and procedure for admission to Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra?
Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks (for General category) and at least 40% aggregate marks (for reserved/ backward category/ Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only). Admission in these universities is direct as well as on the entrance test based. |

Eligibility:-
Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks (for General category) and at least 40% aggregate marks (for reserved/ backward category/ Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only). Procedure:- Candidates those seeking for admission in B. Tech course can apply through a state level exam (MH CET 2021) entrance exam. Candidates can also apply for admission in the state on the basis of the JEE Main 2021 score card. For admissions in IIT, candidates have to clear JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2021 examinations. |

The students must have Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics as the subjects in Class 12. Students who have studied only these subjects in Class 12 are treated eligible for B. Tech admission. In addition, students must score at least 50% of marks in Class 12 to be eligible for B.Tech. |

Eligibility and procedure for admission in Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra:-
Eligibility criteria:- Candidate must have secured more than 55% marks in 12th class with physics, chemistry and mathematics. Candidate must have to secure good marks in entrance exam in order to get admission in good colleges. Admission procedure:- To get admission in Maharashtra engineering colleges you have to sit for an entrance exam conducted by Maharashtra that MHT CET. |
