Re: Which Engineering stream has more chances of getting Government Jobs?
Each Engineering stream has got it's own importance but Government jobs are restricted to some streams. Some of the streams which has got more importance in Government streams are:-
Mechanical,Electrical and Electronics,Electronics and Tele-communication. These three streams are very important for the Public sector companies because each company needs Mechanical Engineer's to have an idea about the machine's performance, construction and various other factors.Electrical Engineer's are useful because with out electricity the machine's doesn't work. Many of the companies meet their own requirements by constructing a small scale power plant.Electronics Engineer's are useful because most of the mechanical and electrical devices use control systems and electronic devices like thyristors to make the machine perform in a better manner. Usually Mechanical Engineer's are recruited in larger number when compared to Electrical and Electronics and tele communication. For details regarding PSU's you can visit the following link http://www.india.gov.in/citizen/PSU.php There are various streams in Government sector like PSC,UPSC which recruit Engineers but mostly PSU's recruit Engineer's. |
