Re: How to become a Pilot after doing B.Com?
Yes it is possible to become pilot even after b.com i.e after graduation for private pilot course to join Air flying schools after completion of 10+2, they should pass the 10+2 exam with physic, chemistry, math. Minimum marks should be 50%...
Since you are doing your graduation you can even try for IAF pilot... Minimum Educational Qualification for IAF Pilots: BSc {Physics/Maths) 3 years or BE 4 years or BSc (General) 3 years with Physics and Maths. The candidate should not have failed INS-B/PAB Test earlier. Should not have been suspended in Flying Training earlier. so think once and better join IAF pilot... |

Re: How to become a Pilot after doing B.Com?
hi
look since you are doing b.com so according to me you were not having physics in class 12 which makes you ineligible to become a pilot the minimum qualification required to become a commercial pilot is 10+2 with maths and physics having atleast 50% marks so friend you are not eligible to become a pilot al the best |

Re: How to become a Pilot after doing B.Com?
No, this is not possible for a student of commerce background. There are many good pilot training institutes in India. Entrance test is taken for admission into these institutes. Take a look on the following points regarding entrance tests
-> Minimum qualification is at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics in 12th board exam. -> Age should be more than 17 years. -> Test is taken in English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. So by now you have already got you are eligible or not. Entry in these institutes is based on 10+2 qualification. Only in case you were in science stream in 10+2 then switch to commerce for graduation degree then you can apply for admission. Okay. |

Re: How to become a Pilot after doing B.Com?
Eligibility To become a Pilot - one should have the licence of SPL for which matriculation and 16 years of age is prescribed for appearing for the test. To get a CPL, one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics and must be between the age of 18-30 years. The minimum height should be 5 feet and eyesight 6/6. Remuneration Sky is the limit for hard working people in Aviation.
SO, IF YOU PASSED 10+2 WITH SCIENCE THEN YOU ELIGIBILE. |

If you have done your 10+2 with the subject combination Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics and got more than 50% marks then you are quite eligible for the pilot course. The entrance test for a Private Pilot License course is taken on subjects like English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.Applications for this test have to be sent to the Director General of Civil Aviation, Safdarjang Airport, New Delhi 110003. Best Wishes.... |
