Re: How to be a IRS officer if I am a student of B.Com 2nd year
Hello,
IRS stands for Indian Revenue Services . To join the IRS one has to appear for the civil services examination conducted by UPSC . Eligibilty citeria for the IRS exam : 1] A candidate should be the citizen of India . 2] Age : 21 to 30 for General category The age relaxation is applicable as per the government rules . 3] Educational Qualification; A graduate in any discipline from any recognised university . There is no condotion of marks secured for the Qualifying exam . So , my friend as you are doing your B.Com 2nd year ,You must first complete your graduation first and then surely you can apply for the IRS exam . Even while you are in the last year of B.Com you can apply for the Preliminary exam , but if you pass the Preliminary exam then you have to submit your degree certificate before the Main exam . The exam is conducted in three phases : Preliminary exam , Main exam and Interview . All The Best !! |
