Those candidates who have passed the 12th standard in science stream from any of the recognized educational institutions are eligible to apply merchant navy.

The candidate who is interested in merchant navy, the candidate must apply for Bachelors course in Nautical science or Marine engineering.

► Applicants who are Indian are eligible

► Passed the Intermediate examination in science stream with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized Institution

► Physical standards that are necessary to apply for Merchant Navy.

► The physical requirements include eyesight 6/6 with no color blindness.

► Applicant must be unmarried for both the male and female.

So, If you have completed 12th standard in science stream you are eligible to apply for Merchant Navy.
