What 2009 Freshers need to do for their career right now ?

go for short proffesional courses if you dont want to study further......proffesional courses will help you find job easier.........but of u want to study more go for m.tech or other masters degree.....uptill then recession will be gone and u will find a good job with handsome salory.......

See there is no recession for the talented ones coz they can get placed in whatever the situation prevails so either update yourself for upcoming technologies or continue with your higher studies.

hi umashankar i will suggest you some points which will help you to tackle the recession period like:

1)you can go for higher studies.

2)you can apply for government jobs.

3)go for some professional short term courses ,because now a days the companies seek more and more qualifications.

4)you can go for defense career and merchant navy career.

in this period you got to be the best to get an good career so work hard and use common sense,
i would advice to go for an higher studies than doing job in this period

well no need to worry as the market is recoverind ..it will be fine in few more days..u will find more job opportunities...
well u can opt short term course,,better option is to go for higher studies or to go for MBA

if you ar going for higher studies right now ,by the time you come out the market will pick up and you will have many job opportunities agian

either apply for jobs or go further for your higher studies like MBA or M.TECH etc.

you can also go for some different fields like hotel management,or any other thing which you like or enjoy ,
the best field to take is to go for research

The better way to get rid of recession is to go for higher studies.

recession is not greatly effected on student its greatly effected on companies..so u should always try to ur best level.

You should do higher education to get job easily in good company or you must do join professional acadmy.....

You should search for those courses whose demand is more and also you are interested in that field and take good knowledge of that field...................

recession is only for those who dont have confidence over them .. hardwork with talent will never fail even if it is a recession perod

try to get proficient in any subject you are actually involved
may it BTECh or MBA
but the feild of medical is least affected in such situations

There are a lot of options – you can work online, have a temp job or go on a freelance work based on what you know. These are small things for you but they could be great addition to your resume. Plus, during the course of working on small things, you will slowly realize what you really wanted to do. Consider this as a stepping stone for something greater in the future.

In recession , it is going to be very difficult to find a job, so best option is to start something of your own i.e entrepreneurship.

hi...generally the companies send there call letters by the month of august and the joining is some were around the month of october or november so i think you should wait for one more month for the call letter to come till then you can either do an job in some other company if you are having any offer such that its fits your job profile of else you can start teaching some kind of tutions or in some coaching centres were the pay is really high and you can earn well in these one or two months also,
or else if you are really interested in doing higher studies then i think you should start preparing for the competetion which you have to give to get entry into that course if in mean while you get the call letter you can still give the examination for which you have prepared and join the course in the next year after having some experiance of the industry which will be really helpful in making you understand the things even better

In my opinion you have to go for further studies in recession period like M.tech or MBA but if you don't want for further studies then you should try to get government job.
There are many government jobs available which do not affected by recession so prepare for it.As you do not mention your qualification properly so i can't give you more information about the government job.
