i want to get good score.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This Exam is being conducted by Institute of Science and 7 IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) jointly to give admission for M.Tech course in various colleges, IIMs and B-Schools.

Here I am providing you some guidelines to prepare for this Exam.

-Be strong enough in fundamental knowledge by concentrating much on fundamental areas because these will be vital not only from the entrance exam point but also for your campus placements.

-Having strong knowledge in fundamentals, you can easily broken down difficult questions and can answer easily.

-Try to purchase GATE Questions and Answers Books. Whenever you complete a particular topic chapter in the syllabus, go through these books and have a look over how the questions are being asked.

-Practice various model question papers and previous year question papers of GATE Exam. The more practice you have, the more easily you can answer various questions in the actual GATE Exam.

-Prioritize the subjects which you have to go through as per the time you have to the GATE Exam and make a time table of yourself. Try to complete the difficult subjects first if you have more time to prepare for the exam.

-Try to make your preparation in a systematic manner and try to understand the problems logically.

-Spend early morning preparation for difficult subjects and problematic areas. This is the best time to understand difficult things and to remember for a long time.

I am happy that , you have firmly decided to get good marks.

GATE stands for "Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering".

When it happens:- Every year 7 IITs and IISc jointly conducts this exam,every year in the month of february.

Syllabus:-

How to prepare:-

- first of all, you need to clear your basic fundamentals of your engineering.

-After that you should try to solve all available material from the market, famous books for this are:-

How to prepare for GATE Exam?

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and is infact an entrance exam for getting entry into M.tech courses.GATE is not an easy exam and you really need a hard work to perform better in this exam .There is no any shortcuts of getting sucessful so you will need to work hard .But i can suggest you some methods to get good marks in GATE exam.

• Complete the syllabus of your last 2 years as these semesters contains your branch paper and generally questions are asked from the core papers .
• Solve previous year papers and new sample papers .
• Take part in the online test conducted by different websites.
• Give special time on time management as this is the major cause of failure of maximum students.

GATE examination is conducted by different IIT's every year.The examination is conducted for higher degree Mtech courses.Only those students can apply for the exam who ar qualify for examination .Every year one IIT take the responsibility of conducting the test .

Eligibility for the examination ::

You must have completed your four year engineering degree in any streams .There is no percentage criteria for the examination OR

You should have done Msc from reputed college.

Final year students can also apply for the exam

There is no age limit for the examination

You can apply for the exam as many times as you want

NOTE::Prefinal year students are not allowed to appear for the exam .

Tips to get good marks in the Board exam ::

1.First and the important thing make a plan and follow it regularly .Study at least 6 hours a day if you want to get a good marks in the exam .

2. Practice previous year question papers .As you have seen that many times previous year question paper gets repeated .So this will really help you to score good marks .

3.Solve model papers .Model papers are necessary because if their is change is the syllabus then these papers could be very helpful for the exam.Many students prefer to take a model papers of TOGETHER .They have the latest model papers and many times questions asked are from it too .

4.Make a notes ::whenever you are studying take a note book ans try to make notes of the important things or something which is interesting and hard to remember .You can use these notes just before the exam to keep remember important terms.

5.Use pen or pencil ::Its better if you learn things by writing them or otherwise just mark the answer in the books by color pencil .This will help you for quick revision and if you will learn by writing then you will remember things for more time .

6.Do not stress much ::Well many students have the tendency to do 100% papers but due to some minor mistakes and stress then able to do only 60 to 70% of their capability .
