Hi friend............

M.sc students are eligible for the NET exam.

NET-National Eligibility Test.

NET exam conducted by the UGC(University Grants Commission) two times in a year.

NET exam has two types one is JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship.

Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete Master's graduation with atleast 55% of marks from a recognised university.

Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Final year persuing students are also eligible.


Age criteria details for JRF:-

The maximum age limit is 28 years and no minimum age limit.

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Age criteria for Lectureship:-

No age limits for Lectureship applying candidates.


Exam fee details:-

Rs 450/- for General category,

Rs 225/- for OBC category,

Rs 110/- for SC/ST category candidates.

To prepare for the UGC NET Exam, the minimum qualification is master's degree, which you have.
So you can apply for the UGC NET Exam. Here we are going to discuss the complete detail about the exam.
The UGC NET Exam is conducted for the Lectureship and junior research fellowship award.
Successful candidates are provided an e-certificate with which you can apply for the vacancies for the lecture of assistant JRF in the national institutes.
The UGC NET Exam used to be held twice a year. Recently there are rumors to conduct it once in a year.

Eligibility criteria: The candidates who have completed their post-graduation degree are eligible for the exam.

Age limit: There are no age limit for the assistant professor. the age limit for the JRF was 28 years earlier which is going to be increased to 30 years old.
The 5 years age relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates.

Exam Pattern: the UGC net earlier consists three papers which is going to be reduced this year. However there is no official notifications yet.

You must check the official notification regarding the changes in the UGC NET exam pattern, age limit, syllabus and the exam dates.

You must work on speed, accuracy, time management and the practice.
