The UGC NET Exam is conducted for the Lectureship and junior research fellowship award. Successful candidates are provided an e-certificate with which you can apply for the vacancies for the lecture of assistant JRF in the national institutes. The UGC NET Exam used to be held twice a year. Recently there are rumors to conduct it once in a year. Eligibility criteria: The candidates who have completed their post-graduation degree are eligible for the exam. Age limit: There are no age limit for the assistant professor. the age limit for the JRF was 28 years earlier which is going to be increased to 30 years old. The 5 years age relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates. Exam Pattern: the UGC net earlier consists three papers which is going to be reduced this year. However there is no official notifications yet. You must check the official notification regarding the changes in the UGC NET exam pattern, age limit, syllabus and the exam dates. For the preparation it is important to know the syllabus and exam pattern. find important topics and make your study plan.
