Usually a student who clear cpt and entering into ipcc doesn't have any option of registering for articles...It is not valid even he did before,, under icai guidelines..

A student who enters ipcc under direct entry scheme from graduation will do articles before ipcc..Such student can register with icai and submit such article ship duration certificate to icai while registering for ipcc and final exams..

Hello friend

In case of direct entry you must undergo 9 months of training before writing the exam.

Firstly you must register with ICAI for articleship training. Then find a Chartered Accountant under whom you will do the training.
