NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year.

This Exam is the Entrance Exam for the candidates to be placed in various Defence services like
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing.

The selection procedure to be placed in above defence services is by
-Written Test
-Interview

Further a medical test will also be conducted as a part of selection procedure.

In order to be eligible for Army wing, one should have completed 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized board.

But, to be eligible for Navy and Air Force wings, candidates must have completed their 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to take up NDA Exam.

One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this NDA Exam.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to take up this Exam.

So, finally what I want to say is, there is no percentage criteria in 12th class to be eligible for NDA Exam.

If you are interested to take up this Exam and if you meet the above eligibility criteria, you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam which is going to be conducted on 15-04-2012.

Those student who pass the 12th class exam are eligible for the exam.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university or board.
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.

The Union Public Service Commission Conducts the NDA Examination twice every years as NDA - I & NDA - II for the recruitment of candidates in the three wings of Indian Defense.

The Eligibility Criteria to appear in this exam are :

* You must be an Indian Citizen.

No percentage of marks required in 12th class to join NDA, only a pass in 12th is sufficient to apply for NDA provided you fulfill other eligibility criteria.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: - 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination
Marks does not play a key role here, you just need to be a graduate.

There is No Minimum Percentage of mark require for NDA Examination . Only Pass Mark is enough to apply for this Examination . So, Please Don't worry .

For this exam percentage is not required.

The National Defence Academy(NDA) Exam is conducted every year in the months of April and August by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) for recruitment of candidates to the following wings :-
