NDA Stands for National Defense Academy and this examination was conducted by UPSC Every Year.

But I will Clearly Inform you that the Girls are Not eligible for NDA Examination, Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

Eligiblity Criteria For NDA Examination -

>> Candidates Must have Completed his 12Th examination from a recognised university.
>> Age should between 16.5 to 19 years.
>> Final year 12Th Candidates are also eligible for this examination.

But At the Time Of Training Candidates age Not more than 19 Years, Otherwise He was not eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

There are Three wings in NDA Examination, Army Wings, Naval Wings and Air Force wings.

For Army wings any 12Th Passed candidates are eligible, But for Army Wings and Naval Wings Candidates must Have completed his 12The examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subjects.

So, If you are Interested to Join Defense services then You have to complete your Graduation degree course and then you are eligible to apply for UPSC CDS Examination. The examination was held Twice in a year and Girls are eligible for this examination after completing Graduation.

Qualification Required for the NDA exam is :

12th standard pass out with minimum 60 % marks

NDA exam is only for male candidates

Girls can apply for the force after their graduation through CDS exam

National Defence Academy Examination (II) – NDA 2 2011 Eligibility

(a) Nationality : A candidate must either be :

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

(b) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible”.
The date of birth accepted by the Union Public Service Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University which must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificates.

These certificates are required to be submitted only after the declaration of the result of the written part of the National Defence Academy Exam II. No other document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and the like will be accepted.

The expression Matriculation / Higher Secondary Examination Certificate in this part of the instruction includes the alternative certificates mentioned above.

Note 1 :

Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Higher Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate available on the date of submission of NDA Online applications 2011 will be accepted by the Union Public Service Commission and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

Note 2 :

Candidates should also note that once a Date of Birth has been claimed by them and entered in the records of the Union Public Service Commission for the purpose of NDA admission to an Examination, no change will be allowed subsequently or at any subsequent examination on any Ground Whatsoever.

Note 3 :

The candidates should exercise due care while entering their date of birth in column 8 of the NDA Online application form for the National Defence Academy Examination. If on verification at any subsequent stage any variation is found in their date of birth from the one entered in their Matriculation or equivalent Examination certificate, disciplinary action will be taken Against them by the Union Public Service Commission under the Rules.

Note 4 :

Candidates must undertake not to marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the Date of his NDA Online application form 2011 though successful at this or any subsequent NDA II examination 2011 will not be selected for training. A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government.

(c) Educational Qualifications for National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Exam 2011 :

For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for National Defence Academy II examination 2011.

Such Candidates who qualify the SSB Interview but could not Produce Matriculation / 10+2 Or Equivalent Certificates in Original at the Time of National Defence Academy SSB Interviews should Forward The Certificates along with Photo Copies there of to the following address By 10th June, 2012 Failing which their Candidature will be cancelled.

All Other Candidates who have Produce their Matriculation and 10+2 Pass or Equivalent Certificates in Original at the Time of Attending The SSB Interview NDA 2 and have got the Same verified by the SSB authorities are not required to submit the same to Army HQ Or Naval HQ as the case may be.

Certificates in original issued by the Principals of the institutions are also acceptable in cases where Boards / Universities have not yet issued certificates. Certified true copies / Photostat copies of such certificates will not be accepted.

In exceptional cases the Union Public Service Commission may treat a candidate, who does not possess any of the NDA qualification prescribed in this rule as educationally qualified provided that he possesses qualifications, the standard of which in the opinion of the Union Public Service Commission, justifies his NDA admission to the National Defence Academy II examination.

Note 1 :

Candidates appearing in the 11th class exam are not eligible for this National Defence Academy examination 2011.

Note 2 :

Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC Examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them. They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination by the prescribed date (i.e. 10th June 2012) and no request for extending this date will be entertained on the grounds of late conduct of Board / University Examination, delay in declaration of results or any other ground whatsoever.

Note 3 :

Candidates who are debarred by the Ministry of Defence from holding any type of Union Public Service Commission in the Defence Services shall not be eligible for NDA admission to the National Defence Academy examination and if admitted, their candidature will be cancelled.

Note 4 :

Those candidates who have failed INSB / PABT earlier are not eligible for Air Force.

It is possible for females to join the defense service sector. However they cannot join through the NDA scheme. This option is not available to females. If a female want to join for this stream basically they will need to go through the OTA scheme. For this they need to first complete their graduation. After that they will need to appear for entrance exams. Like other options in the OTA scheme it is a must that the candidate should be fit physically. Also other than the OTA scheme they can join after 12th standard through the NCC. They will need to have 2 years of experience in Senior Div Army. They must have secured atleast a 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam. For details information is available in the official site of Indian Army.

Let me tell you first, that girls can not apply for NDA.

But the qualifications for NDA is given below:

Sorry to say but girls are not allowed to take the NDA exam .NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the officer post in ARMY,AIR FORCE and NAVY.

Eligibility for the NDA EXAM:

Only unmarried and male candidates are allowed to take the examination .
For army you must have passed you class 12th in any stream
For navy and air force you must have passed class 12th with physics and maths as a compulsory subjects .
You must be between 16.5 to 19 years of age .

For NDA there is written exam which consist of 2 papers of 2 hours each.The question asked will be based on::

Maths
General ability

If you clears the written examination then you will get call for SSB .

But do not worry after completing your graduation you can take the CDSE examination

NDA - National Defence Academy

There is no allocation for girls in NDA programme as far regarding the eligibility criteria's.

NDA is a defence service exam conducted by UPSC every year 2 times and for applying for this exam,the candidates must be be eligible i.e they must satisfy all the criteria's.

Eligibility for NDA:

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

The candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate.

Education qualifications:

For Army Wings:

The candidate must have finished his +2 with (10th +2) pattern in school education.

For Air Force and Naval Wings:

The candidate must have finished his +2 with (10th +2) pattern in school education and must have physics and mathematics as subjects.

The main thing is that the candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the exam as the physical standards seek for it while appearing.
