what stream should i take up in 11th std,if i have to go for the upsc exam,that is IAS?
and after taking the stream,how do i prepare for the upsc exam?

there is no matter for choosing stream in 11th for becoming IAS ....just u need to qualify 12th standard with good marks with any stream......i think if you choose arts then it is best to prepare for IAS exam......open upsc site and see previous years question paper..

You an chose any stream. The requirement mentioned is Graduation. There is no mention of the specific stream. So choose based on what suits you the most. You can start preparing the general awareness section right away. The other sections prepare when you are in the third year.

I.A.S is the exam which many dream to become....
I.A.S exam is conducted mainly basing on all factors , so you should have the overall subject knowledge as well as general knowledge... For appearing I.A.S you better option physics chemistry maths ... because doing this you will have the calculation stuff and it makes your brain to function some extent .... so better opt for PHYSICS CHEMISTRY AND MATHS

you can choose any stream in 11nth to do your IAS after your schooling.

Its very simple

keep calm and think up on it..

read news paper...watch good news channel

instead watching waste stuff in television..

give priority to these channels..

->BBC

->CNN IBN

->Discovery

->National Geographic Channel

->Turbo.

and many more useful channels in your regional language too..

as i don't know your language i'm not writing anything in this regard

if you love to read then buy some useful stuff in the book stalls which will increase GK IQ and etc..,

if you have the facility to surf in the internet

go through some useful sites

and also be regularly updated with our website..and forum

then definitely increase your GK

these are all what i do ..so i can assure you the results

i have a lots of interest in maths and ok interest in science which stream should i choose in 11th and also i have no interest in it

i want to become IAS officer but not intersted in maths and science so plz tell me which stream can i take up in 11th standard.

but why science ? when we look on to some sites we see that HISTORY , GEO, POL. SCIENCE.... HAS A BIG WEITHAGE, so i think u shoul give me a better reason dat should i take arts?

you can choose any stream and then you must pursue any under graduate degree after completing 12th.There are many coaching centres offer coaching for the students who are preparing for ias exam or any other UPSC exam .After completing degree,you can join any of the coaching centres.My advise is that you must read any english newspaper from the second year of your under graduate studies.
