Hello Friend!

You can apply for NDA examination after completing 12th standard in any stream whether Science or Commerce or Arts from recognized university/board. NDA examination is conducted by UPSC 2 times in a years i.e. NDAI & NDAII.

There are 3- wing in NDA..

Indian Army
Indian Air Force
Indian Navy

If you want to join Indian Air Force or Navy then you have to pass 12th standard with Science(PCM group).

To appear NDA examination, your Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. You should Indian citizen. You should be Unmarried & Male aspirant.

Well, You can use all three branches you mentioned above there i.e. Science or arts or Commerce but If You are asking for suggestion about which branch to opt then i will suggest Science with Maths, Since Maths is most Important in NDA written qualification.

There is no doubt about the stream to apply NDA exam because in any stream either science or commerce.

NDA has three wings:

1.Indian Airforce,
2.Indian Navy,
3.Indian Army.

NDA exam was conducted by the UPSC twe times in a year.

>NDA-I,
>NDA-II.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:

You have to complete 12th standard from a recognised state board of india.

One should be age limit in between 16.5years to 19years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible, girls not eligible for the NDA exam.

You must be physically fit.

You should be a citizen of india

Selection procedure:

Written test,
Interview,
Medical test

Important dates:

-Date of Notification:
05/05/2012 -Last Date for Receipt of
Application: 04/06/2012 -Date of Commencement of
Exam: 19/08/2012.

If you want to join NDA. Than you must take Science because in education qualification of NDA Science and maths are required. And science and maths also help to get other jobs.
