Applicant must be unmarried male. Their age must be between 16 ½ and 19 years. Pass in 12th is the basic qualification required. Those who have studied science as the subject can join to any of the three wings of army. Others can join to Indian Army only.

Conditions of eligibility
Nationality: A candidate must either be (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 1995 and not later than 01st July, 1997 are eligible Educational Qualifications Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination by 05th December, 2013 Exam Centres: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur, Vishakhapatnam |

Hello Friend,
To join National Defence Academy(NDA) the candidates are appear the entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice a year for recruiting eligible candidates to Indian Armed force. Qualification for NDA: +2 or equivalent is the minimum qualification required to appear for this exam.+2 with physics & Math is required to Indian Air force ,Navy. Only Un married male candidates between 16 1/2 year to 19 year can apply for the exam. Candidate who are applying for the exam should have Indian citizenship. Thank You. |

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. UPSC conducts NDA for about twice in a year. The Eligibility Criteria: Nationality : Citizen of India. Age : 16.5 to 19 years. Sex : only unmarried male candidates. Educational Qualification: For Indian Army : 12th pass. For Indian Navy & Indian Airforce : 12th pass with Physics and Maths subjects. All the best. |

NDA stands for National Defence Academy this Examination is conducted by Union Public Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I and NDA - II NDA have three wings i.e. 1. Indian Air Force, 2. Indian Army, 3. Indian Navy The 2nd National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) entrance examination will be conducted on 11th August, 2013. The exam, which is carried out by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), will be held for admission to 130 Army, Navy and Air Force Course and 92 Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) for 2013 session. Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination The candidate should: >> Have a XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. NDA-National Defence Academy. 3 wings in NDA:- -->Indian Army, -->Indian Airforce, -->Indian Navy. UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducting this exam every year twice. Eligibility Criteria:- The candidate should be complete +2 from a recognised university or board. The candidate should be physically fit. No restrictions on percentage in your 12th standard. For Indian Airforce and Indian Navy you must have to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects. But no need for Indian Army. The minimum age limit is 16.5years and maximum age limit is 19 years. Only unmarried and male candidates are only eligible for NDA examination. Nationality:- You must be a citizen of India, Or A subject of nepal, Or A subject of Bhutan, Or A tibetian refugee who came over India permanently. Selection process:- Written exam, SSB interview, Medical test. Exam syllabus:- General ability--> 600 marks, Mathematics--> 300 marks. Total of 900 marks.
