Physical Requirements for NDA Exam

The following are the Physical Requirements for The NDA Exam.

Height Should be 157 cms

Weight Should be Correlated To Height

Chest Should be 80 cms And Expansion Upto 5 CMS

Eye Vision Should be 6/6



NDA have three wings i.e.

Indian Air Force

Indian Army

Indian Navy

Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA EXamination

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution

There is no percentage required for this examination

Age Limit

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years

There is no age relaxation for this examination

Nationality

Candidates should be a citizen of India

Marital Status

Candidate should be a citizen of India

At the age of 16 years, you will not be eligible for NDA as the minimum age of entry to NDA is 16.5 years.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I Nad NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The Acronym "NDA" stands for National Defense Academy. The NDA Examination is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission as NDA-I & NDA-II.

The NDA-I Exam is conducted in the month of April whereas NDA-II Exam is conducted in the month of August.

For the year 2013 , the NDA-I Exam has been conducted yesterday on 14th of April. So in this year the UPSC has to conduct the NDA-II Exam on the following schedule :

* Date Of Notification : 04-05-2013

* Last Date For Receipt Of applications : 03-06-2013

* Date Of Exam : 11-08-2013

The NDA Examination is conducted for the those candidates who want to join the National Defense Academy through the following wings :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

Since , this is a Defense examination , so Physical Criteria is the most important criteria that the candidates need to consider carefully.

The Physical Standards Required for NDA Examination are :

The NDA Examination is conducted in three steps as :

1) Written Test

2) SSB Interview

3) Medical Test

You have to pass all the three steps in order to pass the NDA Examination. So , You have to prepare well for the examination as it is considered as one of the tough examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Am sorry now you are age 16 years the minimum age limit is 16.5 years so you are not eligible for this exam but am giving as per my knowledge some of information given below.

NDA examination is a way to Join Defence just after completing his Intermediate examination, those who are interested to Join Army, Navy and Air force wings may apply for NDA Examination, this examination is conducted by UPSC, two times in a year.

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all above wings.NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

Your age now 16 years old so you are not applicable for NDA exam.After the age of 16.5 years old , you are applicable for NDA exam.

NDA II Exam date is given below so you can apply for NDA exam before last date .
