when the NDA exam in 2012

hi,
upsc will conduct NDA entrance exams on following dates-

NDA & NA exam (I)-2013 on 14-04-2013.(sunday)


NDA & NA exam (II)-2013 on 11-08-2013(sunday)


the notifications for NDA & NA (I)-2013 are out and last date of filling form is 21-01-2013. you can reach official website of upsc www.upsc.gov.in for complete notification.

NDA entrance test is conducted by UPSC. The test is usually conducted twice a year. The exam is usually scheduled in the month of March and August. Notifications are issued before two months. Unmarried male candidates below 19 years of age can apply. Pass in 12th is the educational qualification required.

NDA examination is conducted twice in a year by UPSC. If you have the required qualification then you can apply for it two times in year.

The notification come in the employment news and UPSC official websitehttp://www.upsc.gov.in. Hence keep visiting the website so that you don't miss the exam.

10+2 pass from a recognized Board of Education is the basic qualification for NDA examination.

Age Limit:

Age must be between 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried Indian male can apply for this entry.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy examination .

This exam is conducted by twice time in a year as NDA I and NDA II Exam .Through this exam , you can apply in Indian Army , Indian Navy and Indian Air force .

The educational qualification required for NDA exam is 10+2 standard .If your 12th subject are mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all wings.Otherwise you can apply in Indian Army post .NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

2012 Exam date is already over so you can wait for next notification in 2014 .If you have fulfill the above criteria then only you can apply here otherwise not .

To join National Defence Academy a candidate must appear in the entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi, twice a year. The Union Public Service Commission is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the entrance examination.

The 2nd National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) entrance examination will be conducted on 11th August, 2013.

The exam, which is carried out by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), will be held for admission to 130 Army, Navy and Air Force Course and 92 Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) for 2013 session.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should:

>> Have a XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Those appearing for the exam can also apply provided they furnish the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by the UPSC.

>> Have Physics & Maths in 10+2 if he has applied for Navy & Air Force.

>> Be an unmarried male.

>> Be between 16 1/2 to 19 years of age.

>> Be physically fit.

Exam Pattern

The written test has 2 papers both of which will last for 150 minutes each:

Mathematics: Topics to be covered include Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics

General Ability: This paper includes English & GK. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History & Freedom Movement, Geography and Current affairs will be asked in the GK section.
