NDA Exam has three stages for selection to these wings:

Structure of NDA written exam:

NDA written Exam has total of 900 marks in two Subjects

Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

There is no relaxation in upper age limit at all for the candidates of any
category.


academic qualification,
12th passed in any stream for army, but to join navy or air force, mathematics and physics should be your subject in 12th


Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this Exam


Exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

Through this Entrance Exam you can join any one of these three

Army
Navy
Air Force

The selection procedure will be by
1.)Written Exam, when crack these exam you will qualify for next round

2.)Interview, after you crack interview you have to undergo medical test.

Then on all India merit base you will be selected


Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this Exam.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year i.e., NDA I and NDA II.

NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

The Eligibility Criteria:

** The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university.

** And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.

** There is no any percentage restriction in 12th class.

** The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no an upper age criteria.

** The candidate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit.

** The candidate must be citizen of India.

As my knowledge there are some basic and important eligibility criteria are described below-

AGE: - Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.No age relaxation for Reserved Category.

NOTE: - Only unmarried males are eligible.

Educational Qualification : - candidates must passed 10+12th with Physics and Maths and have to minimal 60% in 10th.

If you have completed 12th standard with Arts and Commerce department then also you are applicable for NDA exam in Indian Army department.

NOTE : - Candidates must be physically and medically fit for the NDA test.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY is a premier training Institution to trained and prepared young Indian as a Commissioned Officer in Defence.

The selection of candidate is through NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for a entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good Physical fitness.
