Hello sir, I am a student of Btech-Biotech. I am pursuing my 6th semester.I want to do 6 months training in NBPGR from January. please provide me with the guidelines as to how to approach for training there. thank you.

Procedure to approach Internship or Training at NBPGR:

As you are still pursuing 6th semester, you are not eligible to do training at NBPGR at this stage right now. You are required to complete 6th semester first in order to be eligible. The basic educational qualification required is as follows.

>> You must have completed minimum 3 years of B.Tech and in first division to be eligible.

>> or else an equivalent qualification with minimum 60% marks in 12th Class and in B.Sc or B.Tech.

>> In general, the training will be carried out for a period of 2 months

>> Your request for undergoing the training must include the Bio-data and statement of purpose

>> The request for the training should come from Head of the Department along with the period of training must be addressed directly to the person or scientist who will be responsible for taking the desired approval.
