I am intermediate student I want to become professor so what could I do to become professor in short time? What to do to become a professor?

3. Pursue Bachelor degree in subject in which you are most interested.

Steps to become professor:-

Step 1 - earn an undergraduate degree

The path to become a professor begins with a bachelor's degree. It is a prerequisite to entering graduate school. student may know the subject they want to specialise in from their first day of college.

Step 2 - choose a subject to specialise in

People who want to become a professor must choose are subject to teach and begin gaining expertise in that area, usually by studying the subject while pursuing their undergraduate degree but not always.

Step 3 - Earn a graduate degree

Hopeful professionals must continue their education with a graduate degree. generally those who want to do work as professor at a community college are required to earn a master's degree, why those who want to teach at four year college and universities should earn a doctorate.

Step 4 - participate in an assistantship

During their graduate years, students who want to become a professor should participate in an assistantship program at their school, which is a kind of a financial aid that allows a student to get a full or partial tution remission and a stipend as they gain work experience under the supervision of a professor.

Step 5 - get postdoctoral experience

Eligibility to become a professor:-

1. Pursue post graduation course in a subject which you want to teach in college.

2. You must have got 55% in the post graduation from any university.

3. Qualify the National Eligibility Test.

4. The candidate should be an Indian.

The candidate must have passed a graduation/ postgraduation level degree in any stream from a recognized institute. The candidates can also go for a PhD degree in the preferred stream to avail a career path in Research-based institutions.
