Eligibility for Masters in Journalism?


I am a graduate with economics major journalism was not included in my subject combination but now I want to pursue masters in Journalism. Am i eligible ?

Eligibility for Masters in Journalism:-

First of all, you need to complete graduation with minimum 55% marks. You need to have good grip over the English language and general knowledge.
There will be admission test and personal interview for candidates.
There are several Universities that offer the course like:
Shobhit University
Institute of Media and Technology
Sikkim Manipal University
Asian Institute of film and Television to name a few.
Pearl Academy Mumbai and Presidency College, Bangalore are one of the leading institutes that offer course in journalism.

Eligibility criteria required for Master's in Journalism:

The basic eligibility criteria required to pursue Master's in Journalism course is given below,

Name of the course- Master's in Journalism

>> Candidates must have completed Bachelor's degree or Graduation from a recognized university or institute to be eligible.

>> In general, candidiates who have completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible for studying this course.

>> The minimum percentage required in Graduation is 50% Mark's.

>> Some of the top entrance examinations for doing this course are CUCET, SIMC MA, PU CET Or SUAT...etc.,

The eligibility for Master's in Journalism is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Some universities conduct entrance examinations for admission and some on the candidate's previous academic performance, if required the students might be called for a personal interview or group discussion. The admission process and minimum score may vary from college to college.

Those who have completed bachelor's degree in journalism or english with 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university are eligible for the course.

Most of the universities conduct entrance exam for admission to the programme.
It doesn't have any age limit.
