Date/Day of Commencement of Examination -22 August 2010
Form should be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices only and not from any other agency.

The examination will be held at the following centes

u have to clear this exams ur height wil be 5.5 inch approx & weight should be 55kg-60kg around & ur chest should be 156cm yaar & if u have a not find then go & collect form of nda it cost only 5rs or10 rs approx there will be written on it how much ur height & how much ur weight& much more u want other wise u can go to websites of it nda.ac.in

The minimum height acceptable for NDA is 157 cm. The required height-weight proportion differs according to the age of the candidate.

The chest should be well built and minimum of 81 cm. when expanded to its maximum extent and the range of expansion shoud not be less than 5 cm.

As far as the dates are concerned, the last date of submission of application form for the exam is alredy over and the examination will be conducted on
22-08-2010.
I would also like to correct one thing that has been mentioned by one of the member in this thread that it is not true that the NDA does not accept application form purchased from private agencies provided it is in the same format as been provided by NDA.

CRPF or other Para Military of India, also follows more or less same physical stabdard requirement as that for Army.

According to your Height and age your probable weight must be around 55 kgs. However, there id relaxation for cadidate entering in officer rank For example- Assistant Commandant.

If you are Jimmer relaxation will also be for you, because Jim going candidates have well developed and heavy bones.

NDA form should reach before 19th April'2011.

NDA exams are conducted by UPSC twice every year in the month of April and August,.

The candidates studying in 10+2 can apply for the Indian air force as an officer through NDA exam.

Education Qualification
Candidates having Physics and maths at 10+2 level and has passed the 10+2 exam are eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

The candidate who have appeared in the 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply for the NDA exam.

To be eligible for NDA examination, the candidate must have age in between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

The Union Public Service Commission will hold the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2011 on 21st August, 2011 for admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of NDA for 128th course and for the 90th Indian Naval Academy course (INAC) commencing from June, 2012

Conditions of eligibility

Age limits, sex and marital status:Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible
Educational qualifications

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme of the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination
Physical standards: Candidate must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2011 as given in appendix-V of commission’s notice for the examination published in employment news/rozgar samachar dated 09th April, 2011
