Civil Engineering Paper in KPSC or Karnataka Public Service Commission Examination is basically for those candidates who have studied Civil Engineering either in Graduation or Post-Graduation. Having studied this course previously surely increases the chance scoring well in this particular paper, but then these candidates as well as those who never studied this subject should not forget that knowing the paper pattern is equally important.

There are total four divisions in this paper as Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D.

Time and marks for this paper:

The total marks for this paper is 300 and is to be solved in the provided time limit of three hours.

Paper Pattern:

The civil engineering paper of the Karnataka Public Service Commission is of 300 marks and the time duration in which candidates are required to solve this paper is of three hours. The candidates can answer the questions in any of the languages but they have to specify it at the time of form submission. The questions of the paper are conventional type. There is also word limitation for each section of the paper.

Section A, B, and C of the paper are the compulsory one while only three questions are required to be answered correctly in the Section D of the question. Section A considerably contains less mark and that would be Around 20 marks. Whereas, Section B has 100 marks while the Section C consists of 90 marks. The Section D, which is the last section of the paper, contains a maximum of 90 marks.
