Master of Fishery Science
It’s the diversified arenas of the oceanography, environmental science, economics and management of fishes which are covered in the course. The trained individuals are promised of enormous career scopes owing to the vast range of long coastline in India. The benefits are also equipped with handsome salary packages after the course. Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for the course call for a science graduation or a B. Tech degree holder candidates. And few of the institutes specify their eligibility criteria as the graduation subject must be zoology or fisheries science. However it’s not customary.
Course Outlook:
The course is restricted to a two years program, with regular examinations.
Job Prospects:
There are enormous job profiles which eagerly wait for the candidates who have completed master of fishery science. Among these are the posts of fisheries inspector, farm manager, processing of stock and post harvest manager, hatchery manager and so on. The scopes are never limited as the research fields and the aquaculture technology too welcome the candidates with this degree.
