Admission Procedure for M.Sc Courses in GBPUAT
Science graduates in Agriculture/Forestry (or related subjects) can apply for M.Sc in Agriculture. B.Sc holders in Home Science or Home Economics can apply for master degree courses in Home Science. Candidates interested in M.Sc in Home science, must hold a B.Sc degree in Home Science/Home Economics. For all other M.Sc programs, eligible candidate must be a B.Sc degree holder in the concerned subject.
Admission to M.Sc courses in GBPUAT is done through a written exam and counseling session. Written exam comprises of two main sections, covering questions from the following topics.
- Aptitude Questions
- Subject Specific Questions
Written test is carried out in objective type format. There will be 50 questions from aptitude section and 150 questions from subject related topics. Total time allotted for the test is 3 hours, in which 45 minutes is meant for answering aptitude questions.
Those who have passed the written exam will be informed about the date of counseling. During the process, mark sheets and other relevant documents of the candidate are considered for final decision on admission.
