NET Social Medicine & Community Health (Paper-III) Papers
The paper on Social Medicine & Community Health for the National Entrance test has two papers, namely paper 2 and 3.Paper two is a multiple choice based paper having 100 marks to it and 50 questions. The paper three is a more elaborate paper with subjective based answers. The paper deals with the knowledge of social medicine and health issues in detailed studies. The paper is available in Hindi as well as in English and one has to choose what medium to answer the paper in.
Paper pattern:
The paper on NET Social Medicine & Community Health has two sections, Part A and part B. Part A has ten short essay type questions each carrying 16 marks. There will be choices and one has to choose between sub parts or as question is given. The questions are to be answered in about 300 words. Although there are only 10 questions but each question have two options to choose from. Section B has only one question carrying 40 marks and one has to be elaborative and answer it in about 800 words. There are generally three options to be chosen from.
Maximum marks and time allotted:
The marks allotted in the NET Social Medicine & Community Health (Paper-III) is 200 marks, with 160 in section A and the rest 40 in section B. The paper has to be completed in two and a half hours time.
