Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 26, which is divided among the different categories of candidates as follows:

Period of Probation – Period of Probation for Officer Scale – 1 Position is 24 months.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: To apply for the position of Officer Scale – I in Uttaranchal Gramin Bank, candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university and they should be proficient in Hindi. Desirable qualification is knowledge of computers and candidates must possess knowledge of English as well.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in written test and interview. The written test for the position of Officer Scale – I is proposed to be held on 19th of February 2012.

Cost of application:

The application fee to be paid by SC/ST/person with disability is Rs.75 and the amount to be paid by other candidate is Rs.325. This amount should be paid by the candidates through either Uttaranchal Gramin Bank challan - 01 or SBI challan - 01 that can be obtained from the website of Uttaranchal Gramin Bank at www.uttaranchalbank.in. After filling in the required details in the challan form, the fee should be paid either through UG bank or SBI.  Once the fee is paid, candidates will have to retain the candidate copy of the challan to be produced at the time of written test. Application fee should be paid between 7th November 2011 to 10th December 2011.
