Sister Grade-II, All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences
All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 1956 as ana autonomous institute. The institute has an endowment of approximately 450 crore per annum. Minister of Health and Family Welfare is the president of the institute. The institute is a premier medical college and hospital located in New Delhi. The institute is also considered as one of the most prestigious medical colleges present in the country. The main objective behind the establishment of the institute was to develop a strong curriculum and teaching guidelines for courses in all branches of medicine.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for the position of Sister Grade-II in All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences. Candidate’s recruitment will be made on direct basis. Interested candidates should check their eligibility for the post before applying for it. The number of vacant positions are tentative and are liable to change depending on the requirement of the institute.
Eligibility:
The upper age limit set for the post of Sister Grade-II in All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences is30 years. Candidates are also required to be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan or a person of Indian origin. Candidates who belongs to any of the reserved categories, may get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit set for the post.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have done Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized university board. Interested candidates should also possess a certificate in general Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution or equivalent. Candidates are also required to be registered ‘A’ grade nurse and midwife with a State Nursing Council or equivalent qualification.

SC category candidates: 98 posts are available.
ST category candidates: 49 posts are available.
OBC category candidates: 177 posts are available.
PH(OL) category candidates: 77 posts are available.
PD category candidates: 7 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.
Application Fee:
Rs. 500 is the amount of application fee that is need to be submitted by the interested candidates. SC/ST candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 100 only. The application fee must be deposited in any branch of SBI through a payment challan.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be made through the means of a selection process which consist a Written Examination. The written test will be held on 21 August 2011 in Delhi only.
How to apply: Candidates should apply online at AIIMS website. Candidates will be allowed to apply online from 11 July 2011 to 8 August 2011. A printout of the system generated application should be retained by the candidates for the record. The printout should be produced at the time of written test alongwith the copy of the fee payment challan.
