National Institute of Health and Family Welfare was established in the year 1977 under the Government of India. The institute is actually an Apex Technical Institute which came into existence as a result of the fund raised by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The main idea behind the establishment of the institute was to promote the health and family welfare programmes in the country. The institute performs its operations through education training, research, evaluation and consultancy services. The institute resulted after the merging to National Institute of Health Administration and Education and National Institute of Family Planning.

Job Profile:

National Institute of Health and Family Welfare is recruiting eligible and qualified candidates on the following positions of Supervisor/Assistant Coordinator, Lab Supervisor, Lab Assistant and Computer Assistant/ Data Entry Operator. Candidate’s appointment will be made initially for a period of 6 months which is extendable further based on their performance.

1. Recruitment of Supervisor/Assistant Coordinator:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Stats or Demography or Biostats or Maths or Geography with knowledge of statistical packages.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 20000-22000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Lab Supervisor:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Educational Qualification: DMLT with atleast2 to 3 years experience especially in work on nutritional surveys.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 17500-19500 per month.

3. Recruitment of Lab Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 19 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: DMLT/BMLT with atleast one or two years work experience in a laboratory after Diploma or Degree.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12500-13500 per month.

4. Recruitment of Computer Assistant/Data Entry Operator:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduation with Diploma course in Computer Applications with atleast 2 or 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12500-13500 per month.

Selection Process:

Only eligible candidates will be called for the Interview test on a presribed date. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview test on the basis of their applications. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated for the interview test in the website of Institute.
