The administration of a system of interconnected businesses that involves the eventual provision of service as well as products that are asked for by the end customers is called as Supply chain management (SCM). A person who practices this and performs the necessary tasks is called as a Supply Chain Manager. There are lots of colleges in our country that provides graduate as well as postgraduate courses in supply chain management. Candidates who have finished their course in SCM will have a good knowledge about the logistics industry. Who is eligible to apply?

The basic qualification that is required for a candidate to join the course in SCM is a pass in class 12. The certification must be from a recognized University or Institution. An additional Master’s degree in business management is needed for pursuing a career in supply chain management.

How to prepare for exam and interview?

Candidates who wish to become Supply Chain Managers should have good leadership skills as well as communication skills. They must have the innate capacity to work under pressure. A good knowledge in computer software will also be helpful them in course of their job. The candidates must also be familiar with the latest techniques in communication technology. When they are appearing for the exam, the candidates must have readied themselves well. Writing short notes will help them memorize their lessons. As their answers will determine their place in the institution of their choice, the candidates must guarantee that they answer directly without making many errors at the time of the interview.
