The Joint Entrance Examination has been conducted by the Thripura board of Joint entrance Examination so as to admit the eligible candidates to the various Medical degree courses. The Thripura Medical College is one of the highly reputed institutes of the country.

Structure of Tripura JEE Medical

The exam structure consists of three sections. Candidates those who are seeking admission to Medical degree courses must appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 60% of questions from each section will be of objective type multiple choice type and 40% are of short answer questions. The time allotted for each section is 90 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should be of Indian origin. He/She must be a permanent resident of Thripura in order to appear for the examination. Permanent residence proof should be submitted at the time of application. Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examinations conducted by the central board of higher secondary examination/Tripura board of secondary education. The candidates are not eligible to apply if he/she has allotted a seat in the previous year through Joint Entrance Examination.

How to Apply?

The application forms can be obtained from the office of Tripura Board of higher secondary education from first week of January till the last week of January by ma king a payment of Rs 25/- against the application form. The same can be obtained via post by sending a money order or bank draft of Rs 25/- in favor of the Thripura board of higher education.You can also purchase the application form from any of the following centers given below

After the successful completion of the application forms, it should be sent along with all the enclosures needed to the Thripura board of joint entrance examination with a postal order of  Rs 250/- and it should be payable at any banks of Agartala.

  • Commencement of Examinations:  Last week of April, 2012
  • Date of Publication of results: Last week of May, 2012

    My son is a permanent resident of tripura having Permanant resident certificate having PRTC, ration card, birth certificate of Agartala municipulity. but read in Purulia ramkrishna mission for madhyami and HS( + stage). Is he eligible for Tripura JEE medical
