English is one of the most spoken languages currently. English is a very good subject to do higher education as it will provide better job opportunities for them. Even in India, one of the most spoken languages. University of Kashmir provides higher education in various sector and field.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Candidates who are applying for the paper must be a citizen of India and they have a certificate of graduation. Candidates who are residents of J&K will get preference in the admission procedure. Students, who are in final year, may also apply but they can sit for the paper if they can produce their passing certificate in time of admission.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Paper is an objective paper and students will get same marks for solving each question. There is a provision of negative marking for each wrong answer. 1/3rd of marks allotted to the question will be deducted.

Mode of Exam:

Examination is a conventional paper and students have to answer their answers in an OMR sheet.

Paper contains 60 objective type questions in it and these questions also contain some question of statements time. The paper is a good chance to score full marks in it.
