Eligibility requirement:

Bachelor of Pharmacy:

Candidates seeking admission the Bachelor of Pharmacy course must have obtained minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in chemistry, physics, mathematics/botany & zoology/biology after completing 12 years of formal education. For candidates coming under SC/ST category, the minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination is 45%.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (Lateral Entry):

For seeking admission to the second year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy course, candidates must have completed their Diploma in Pharmacy course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy council of India securing an aggregate of at least 50% of marks.

Master of Pharmacy:

For getting into the Master of Pharmacy course offered by the Vel’s College of Pharmacy, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy course from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University or any other university approved as equivalent by the TN Dr.MGR Medical University and also by the All India Council for Technical Education. In the case of candidates, belonging to states other than Tamil Nadu, they should get an eligibility certification from the university before seeking admission.
