Profile:

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Rajasthan was established by the Government of India under Ministry of HUman Resource Development. For the time being, IIT Kanpur has been designated as the mentor IIT for looking after the incubation activities of the new IIT in Rajasthan. Institute offers four year B.Tech. programme in three branches i.e. Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The strength of the students in each branch is set to 40 students at the time.

Job Profile:

Candidates with Indian nationality are invited for applying for the various posts in the departments of Computer Science/Mechanical/Electrical engineering etc in IIT Rajasthan.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have an experience of atleast 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor for applying for the posts of Assistant Professor in IIT Rajasthan.

Educational Qualification:

Doctorate degree in Philosophy is required for applying for the specified posts in IIT Rajasthan.

No. of posts: Several posts are available for the specififed positions.

Pay Scale:

Associate Professor: Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs.9500.
Assistant Professor: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.8000.

Selection Process:

The selection criteria made by the authority for the posts of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor includes written examination as well as the Personal interview session.
