Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer (ACTREC) was established under the Tata Memorial Centre by the Governemnt of India. The centre is the new state of the art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre. Tata Memorial Hospital is one of the largest cancer hospital in Asia. The major function of the centre is to act as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. Tata Memrial Centre is an autonomous institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.
