Vidya Bharathi Institute of Technology was set up in the year 2002 by the Handavi Education Society in the Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh. It is now one of the reputed institutes of the country. It is affiliated to JNTU and has the affiliation of AICTE.

Courses:

The college has engineering courses to offer in various disciplines. The various streams of engineering include Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Infrastructure:

The college has an extensive green campus covering a land area of 32.7 acres in the village of Pembarthy. The buildings within the campus are very spacious and the environment is calm and pure. The college’s central computer unit has around 300 computers. The institute’s laboratories are state of the art and in sync with the AICTE norms with all the modern equipments. There are more than 18000 volumes of books in the college’s central library which is well stocked and well furnished. There are also various journals in the library and the update in the stocks is made every year almost.

Placement:

The college has a highly functional, co-operative and student friendly placement cell which continuously train students according to the industrial needs. This is the reason behind various big companies recruiting students from the college in bulks. Some of those companies are IBM, Infosys, Wipro, CES, OCTL, Syntel, TCS, Lotus, VSNL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, CTS, WCE and many more.
