Warangal also called as Orugallu is a city in the Warangal District of the state of Andhra Pradesh and the city is also a municipal corporation the district. The city is located at a distance of about 148 kms north-west of the capital of the state Hyderabad. The city together with Kazipet and Hanamakonda are called as Tri-city with a population of nearly 11 lakh people in these three cities put together. Medical College:

Kakatiya Medical College came into existence in the year 1959 and the colleges if affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences. The Medical Council of India has permitted the Kakatiya Medical College to admit 150 students per year for the MBBS course. The college also offers Doctor of Medicine course in different branches like psychiatry, pulmonology, dermatology, anesthesiology, radiology, pediatrics and internal medicine and MS course in Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, and General Surgery in addition to PG diploma in Radiology, Paeditrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Anaesthesiology. Admission of students to the MBBS course offered by the college is done based on EAMCET score secured by the candidates.

Anantha Lakshmi Government Ayurvedic Medical College came into existence in the year 1956 and the college offers Ayurvedacharya course with an intake capacity of 30 students per year. For getting into this course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in science stream with biology, chemistry and physics subjects securing not less than 50% of marks.

Engineering College:

National Institute of Technology, Warangal came into existence in the year 1959 as Regional Engineering College and the college offers the following courses:

    My son has secured 60 marks in aieee exam 2011 and has secured 73% in pcm subject at maharashtra state board pune std xii in 2011 he could not get allotment in any of the institutes till now. can he get admission in your institute? what is the procedure for getting admission for f y mechanical engg? kindly reply.
