National Institute of Technology, Warangal, since its inception, has been providing its students with world class education in a diversified environment. After the completion of the course the students of NIT come out as competent engineers which are ready for rendering their valuable services to the industry.
Courses Offered: The College offers a host of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The courses are in a variety of streams which include Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Metallurgical & Material Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Biotechnology, Civil, Chemical, and Mechanical. Apart from the engineering courses, postgraduate courses are also there in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Management.
Infrastructure: The institute boasts of a lush green sprawling campus. There is an excellent computer centers. The library sufficiently has all the books required to impart knowledge of everything required to the students. The library has more than 1, 40,000 books, technical pamphlets, Video cassettes, CDs etc.
The laboratories are all fully equipped with the latest instruments. There are a number of hostels for the students. The students are given internet facilities.
Admission and Eligibility: Like the other NITs, NIT Warangal also gives admission on the basis of rank scored in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE. Admissions for postgraduate programs are given on the basis of GATE.
Placements: There is a special training and placement cell in the college. It assists the students in every possible way to get them placed in reputed companies. The students of the institute are placed all over the globe in renowned companies. Every year nearly 150 companies recruit students from the college.

Dear Sir, I am an NRI based in Dubai. My Native Place in India is Anakapalle, Visakhapatnam Dist, Andhra Prades. My son is currently is studing class 10 in Dubai, CBSE curriculum. His entire schooling is in Dubai. He is keen to study Chemical Engineering in Warangal NIT. I want to know If writing AIEEE entrance is a must for NRI students? Or admission can be based on his 11th and 12th marks?
Also,if he studies Intermediate in Andhrapradesh Board and appears for AIEEE, will he be considered for NRI quota seats?
