The Institute of Hotel Management of Chennai was set up in 1963. The institute began to show its educational strength over the years by distributing excellent hotel management catering courses to the candidates. The institute provides such training programs to its students which help to collect extra knowledge about the course. The institute also conducts scholarship programs for its needy students.
Campus:
The Institute of Hotel Management is about 14 kms from Chennai Meenambakkam Airport, 12 kms from Central Railway Station and 15 kms from Koyambedu Mofussil Bus Terminus. The institute provides all sorts of general facilities including well furnished labs, library, class rooms and seminar hall. The institute is located in the centre of the city. The institute also maintains the fitness of the students by availing various sports fields and gymkhana for them.

In Hospitality and Hotel Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics & Hospital Food Service, Diploma in Food & Beverage Service, Diploma in Food Production.
Admission Procedure:
The only way to get admission in this institution is, candidates have to give a written test known as JEE, conducted by the NCHMCT. Minimum eligibility for bachelor courses is they have to pass 10+2 exams.

The institute provides on campus placement facility to its students and also manages to give all sorts of information’s to interact with the national and domestic hotels of India.
